Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison is an Off-Roading Menace

Thanks to an exciting collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles, Chevrolet is able to announce a brand-new Silverado model this year — the Silverado ZR2 Bison. This truck boasts improved off-roading performance, due to an enhanced engine and a wide array of specialized equipment.

The ZR2 Bison is powered by a second-generation 3-liter Duramax® turbodiesel engine that improves horsepower by 10 percent over its predecessor, and torque by 7.6 percent. These increases in performance are possible thanks to enhancements like new fuel injectors, new steel pistons with an improved combustion bowl, and better temperature control.

A variety of off-roading equipment betters the ZR2 Bison’s performance even further. For example, it boasts bumpers made of high-quality, AEV-stamped steel, complete with heavy-duty recovery points and built-in step pads. There’s also five hot-stamped boron steel skid plates that protect your differential, transfer case, and fuel tank, as well as exclusive 18-inch AEV tires. And all of this is on top of the improvements already offered by the Chevy ZR2, like Multimatic™ DSSV spool-valve dampers.

This off-roading menace will be available before the end of this year. Keep an eye out for its arrival, and let us at Stingray Chevrolet Bartow know if you want to take it for a spin.
