Go on a Road Trip in a Chevrolet SUV

Road trips have never gone out of favor, but road trips are more popular than ever now that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit. With restrictions on air travel and health concerns, more Americans are not only hitting the open road to get away from it all, but more Americans are also planning to road trip during the winter holidays.

According to a recent study from Chevrolet and The Harris Poll of 1,000 Americans, “Nearly 80 percent of Americans credited road trips as helping to keep their sanity during the pandemic.”

SUVs make a great choice for your road trip vehicle thanks to their ample cabin space to keep you and your passengers comfortable, expansive cargo space to secure your bags and gear, and a higher ground clearance for a smoother ride. The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban deliver all the amenities you need for an epic road trip, including best-in-class cargo volumes and an available Rear Seat Media System equipped with two 12.6-inch diagonal LCD HD touch screens. Your rear passengers can whittle away the hours on the road watching their favorite movies.

“This desire to pack up family and cargo and get out is part of these iconic SUVs’ DNA. The all-new 2021 Tahoe and Suburban have been completely redesigned to offer more space, comfort and technology to make road trips enjoyable and memorable,” said Bob Krapes, Chevrolet Trucks marketing director.

This compact SUV will hit the market in 2022 with a sportier, more athletic design, a new RS trim to go along with the L, LS, LT, and Premier trims, and more safety features. You can choose between 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbo engines, which can be paired with six-speed or nine-speed automatic transmissions and available all-wheel drive configuration.

The redesigned front and rear fascia will flaunt a more aggressive grille and LED headlamps to make the 2022 Equinox the fiercest, most modern version of the SUV to date.

Best-in-class cargo space will be a highlight of the 2022 Traverse, which hit record sales in 2019 to bring the mid-size SUV to a total of 1.3 million units sold since its inception in 2009.

The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is Coming Next Year

2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer

If you love the winning style of the Chevy Blazer, then get ready for more where that came from. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has been announced and is set to arrive at Stingray Chevrolet Bartow early next year, bringing plenty of substance and style with it.

“The Trailblazer’s great design enables more personalization,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “Trailblazer is a continuation of the design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”

The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will sit between the Trax and Equinox, giving Chevy one of the most comprehensive crossover and SUV lineups going. With the Trailblazer’s arrival, Chevrolet will offer the Trax, Equinox, Blazer, Traverse, Tahoe, and Suburban, making it easier for drivers to get the vehicle that perfectly fits their needs.

In addition to continuing the style that’s made the new Blazer such a hit — including offering an RS trim with two-tone roof — the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer will feature standard technologies like Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, making it one of the smartest choices in the segment.

The new Trailblazer is set to arrive early in 2020, so watch this space for more details leading up to launch. When it arrives, you’ll find it right here in the Stingray Chevrolet Bartow showroom.
