The new, improved, and refreshed versions of the compact SUV Chevrolet Equinox and the mid-size SUV Chevrolet Traverse have been pushed back from their scheduled launch. They are moving to being 2022 model year SUVs, and we at Stingray Chevrolet Bartow are eagerly awaiting their reveal.

2022 Chevy Equinox

This compact SUV will hit the market in 2022 with a sportier, more athletic design, a new RS trim to go along with the L, LS, LT, and Premier trims, and more safety features. You can choose between 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbo engines, which can be paired with six-speed or nine-speed automatic transmissions and available all-wheel drive configuration.

The redesigned front and rear fascia will flaunt a more aggressive grille and LED headlamps to make the 2022 Equinox the fiercest, most modern version of the SUV to date.

2022 Chevy Traverse

Best-in-class cargo space will be a highlight of the 2022 Traverse, which hit record sales in 2019 to bring the mid-size SUV to a total of 1.3 million units sold since its inception in 2009.

Redesigned front and rear designs, new standard LED headlamps and tail lamps, and fresh interior seating options give the Traverse a makeover inside and out. Six essential safety systems will be standard on all trim levels in 2022, delivering the latest technology to your drives.

With the Equinox and Traverse delayed, you can still find the current SUVs here at Stingray Chevrolet Bartow. We have them in stock now.

The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is Coming Next Year

2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer

If you love the winning style of the Chevy Blazer, then get ready for more where that came from. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has been announced and is set to arrive at Stingray Chevrolet Bartow early next year, bringing plenty of substance and style with it.

“The Trailblazer’s great design enables more personalization,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “Trailblazer is a continuation of the design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”

The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will sit between the Trax and Equinox, giving Chevy one of the most comprehensive crossover and SUV lineups going. With the Trailblazer’s arrival, Chevrolet will offer the Trax, Equinox, Blazer, Traverse, Tahoe, and Suburban, making it easier for drivers to get the vehicle that perfectly fits their needs.

In addition to continuing the style that’s made the new Blazer such a hit — including offering an RS trim with two-tone roof — the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer will feature standard technologies like Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, making it one of the smartest choices in the segment.

The new Trailblazer is set to arrive early in 2020, so watch this space for more details leading up to launch. When it arrives, you’ll find it right here in the Stingray Chevrolet Bartow showroom.
